Frequently Asked Questions
Do you build container homes?
While A&M Container is not in the home building business, we can provide containers for your project. Before proceeding, it is recommended first and foremost that the buyer/homeowner check with local building and permit officials to ensure complete understanding of local building permit requirements.
Do you provide delivery and set up?
Yes, A&M Container does provide tilt bed delivery within southern Louisiana and Mississippi. Containers can be delivered to the ground, or on customer supplied timber, reasonably close to the final resting position. Set up does not include ground or container leveling beyond minor shimming. Please see “Delivery/Pick Up” for further and important details.
Are permits required for a container at my site?
We suggest checking with the local municipality where the container will be placed to ensure compliance with municipal requirements.
Do you provide a written warranty against leaks?
While we sell all of our used and slightly used containers in “as is condition” all containers go through our shop to ensure units are leak proof, floors are solid and the doors open, close and seal properly. All customers can inspect and select their own unit before delivery or we will provide pictures inside and out before purchase.
Do you rent containers?
A&M Container currently does not rent containers.
Do you have financing or a rent-to-own program?
Yes, we do, administered through a third party.
Do you deliver nationally?
A&M Container services southern Louisiana & Mississippi only.
Are you able to pick up and move containers from one location to another?
A&M Container can reposition EMPTY containers ONLY under certain circumstances. We are happy to discuss your needs and assist when possible.
Do you provide any shipping services for exporting my container?
While A&M Container does sell, upon request, certified containers for international transport, we do not provide shipping services, nor do we service the port. Any cargo and transport arrangements would need to be handled by the customer.
